Gibraltar launches online company incorporation for licensed formation agents
Companies House Gibraltar launched an online incorporation service on 18 February 2026 for firms licensed by the GFSC to provide company formation and management services. Approved users can reserve names online for 14 days and submit the full application as one OCR'd PDF through the portal.
Companies House Gibraltar announced on 18 February 2026 a new service for submitting company registration applications online.
What changed
- The service is open to entities licensed by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission to provide company management and formation services. Existing web-account holders apply for access using a service request form.
- Approved users can reserve a prospective company's name through the online name search. Reserved names are held for 14 days and appear under 'My Reserved Names'.
- The application to register, with all required documents, is uploaded through the new 'Application to Register a Company' module as a single OCR'd PDF file.
Who is affected
Gibraltar corporate service providers and anyone forming Gibraltar companies through them.
