Isle of Man companies must notify director changes within a month
From 1 April 2025, companies under the Isle of Man's Companies Act 2006 must notify the Companies Registry of their first directors, and of any later change to the register of directors, within one month. Existing companies had until 1 May 2025 to file earlier unreported appointments. Director details are no longer updated through the annual return, which has a new form from 1 May 2025.
The Isle of Man Government announced the changes to the Companies Act 2006 on 20 March 2025. They bring 2006 Act companies closer to the online filing already used for companies under the Companies Act 1931.
